If you have lost all your back teeth can you..?

have implants or do you have to have removeable dentures! and is this expensive?

If you have lost all your back teeth can you..?
Depends on what you lost your back teeth too. If you lost them due to periodontal disease (loss of bone) then it is very unlikely you can have implants. Because obviously you need strong, healthy bone in order to drill the implant in to. If however you lost your teeth to decay or gum disease - and you have no serious bone loss, then yes you can have implants. But be warned implants are extremely expensive. They can range anywhere from £1000-£2000 per tooth!!!
Reply:I think you can have inplants into the gum, but probably very expensive and painful, saw it on extreme make-over.
Reply:I didn't lose all my back teeth, but I do have implants in the back. The dentist did tell me he prefers bridges in the back, but I know why you would prefer implants.
