How long after a molar extraction can one wait before the other teeth start to go all crookedy from the gap?

This would be a big old upper molar or something, second from the last tooth (absent any wisdom tooth). It had to be yanked out in an emergency best left undescribed, and there was no opportunity to place a bone graft for a future implant. How important is it to rush to have a bone graft placed in preparation for an implant? This is for a 42-year-old guy.

The above is right it may or maynot move. But you can have a 40 dollar metal spacer put in until the graft an be done.
Reply:There is no answer to this. It might never move or it might start to move by next week. Or some time in between those two. Seriously.
