Should I get a tooth implant or a bridge?

Well first of all dental implantology is a relatively new improved science for the comfort of the patients as it overcomes allot of the bridges disadvantages like for example bone resorption caused by bridges in the long run , food accumulation under the bridge and the different types of chronic inflammatory reactions it might cause ,it might cause weakening of the teeth beside it plus the metal used in bridges might cause some sorta reactions in some patients while with implantology the titanium rodes are places inside the bone and they have a material covering the metal rodes that enhances the bone deposition mechanism so actually it gets more and more fixed overtime with absolutely no inflammatory reactions as titanium is an inert material and bileave it or not patients forget that they have implants in their mouth in no time they simply get used to it n u can start treating your implanted teeth just as any other natural ones and sometimes they can be used as a bridge stones for a future prostodontic partial denture , they are more expensive than bridges but u can consider this as a long term investment

good luck

Should I get a tooth implant or a bridge?
Depends on your situation.
Reply:I got a tooth implant about 8 years ago.... it beats the heck out of a bridge.... first of all, you dont have to give up 2 more teeth for it.... like the grinding down on a bridge.... and its mended into your bones.... it looks like a screw at one end and swiss cheese at the other,,,, so you bone can grow thru and around it..... and its 100000 times better, i forget i have one, or even that i got my grill knocked out in high school.... a little expensive, but worth it over your lifetime.
Reply:Implant, if you can afford it.
