i have braces for many years up untill last summer. last summer i had implants put in but i have yet to get the crowns on the implants. over the past year or so it has become harder to speak properly. could it be because the tooth are moving?
If you stop having braces will your teeth go back to their orignal place? can it change your abilaty to speak?
Just adapt to it man, talk in a different accent or something. That's what I did!
Reply:the teeth can modify slightly but thats why retainers are issuedthey help the teeth set. i doubt that it would affect your speech
Reply:No not if u wear retainer I dont think it will affect ur ability to speak u should talk to ur orthondicts
Reply:yes usally your teeth can go back slightly and no you shouldnt speak differntly if your not closeing a majoir gap or if you have a retainer
