How much does one tooth implant cost in the UK?
Not sure.

But, you may wish to read a good article called "Implant Dentistry – The Convenient and Safe Alternative to Dentures". You can find it at:

Reply:A Crown is about £120, a filling about £30. We only do brain implants in the UK.
Reply:You cant get on implant done on the NHS,only if you go to a teaching hospital and theres a long waiting list. An implant costs about £1500.00ish. A crown on NHS is £189.00 but most dentist only do it privately about £400.00
Reply:i got my implant done for £1200
Reply:Implants are around £1500-2000. I recommened that if you are going to have an implant make sure the dentist you choose has a good few years of experience as there are many dentists now that are going off and doing a years course and then claiming they are qualified. It takes years of study and practical experience to develop the skills necessary to perform the procedures correctly. Even then , there is still the chance that the implant may fail if your implant does not integrate into your bone structure, And you will likely not getback back the £2000. It is a risk you take going ahead with the procedure.
Reply:I know a fantastic team, compromised of an oral surgeon and an aesthetic dentist, both of whom are fantastic, seen lots of their work, great success rate, nearly 100%, best implants in the world, and believe me there are some seriously dodgy people out there providing poor implants in compromised surroundings without taking the bigger picture into account, i.e. pt history - like do they smoke etc etc, long term success rate, the surgeons I know are private - £2500 per implant but my god you couldn't ask for better - I'd be the first in their surgery should I ever need it. (Hopefully not)

There is sooooo much involved in this decision that you have to be supported by people who have good morals and a very high success rate. Good Luck in your hunt

Oh and just as a footnote - check that your implant will include aftercare and the crown/bridge/work that you will need on top of it, or you could end up with a very nasty suprise!
