Does any one know where I can find a cheap dentis for dental implants in nj, mine want $1800.for one tooth?
Search of a dental college in your area most of schools offer reduced fees.

I don't know where in New Jersey you live but it is worth a try.
Reply:I'm in Maryland, a little south of D.C. and $1800 is a good price. Does that include everything, implant placement and the crown. An oral surgeon should place the implant and a dentist would make the crown. Be careful, not all dentists know what they're doing when it comes to placement.
Reply:I'm in Virginia and my dentist wants to charge me 1500 per tooth and that is with insurance. It's also an additional charge for the actual procedure. Bridges are also another alternative, but I know that the implants are probably better. As far as going to a college, that may not be such a good idea because the students don't have any type of degree and that procedure consist of someone drilling in your mouth and I pretty sure that your not going to be comfortable with a student doing that procedure. Call around and see if any dentists arrange payment plans. With my dentist I'll be paying half when I get the temp implant put in and the other half once my permanent tooth has arrived. Good luck to you.
Reply:$1800 per implant is actually a very good price. They can usually go from $3000 up per tooth. You really don't want to go the cheap route when it comes to implants; you'll get what you pay for.
Reply:Dental implants can be a costly procedure. An entire team of professionals are needed to deliver a long-lasting smile. Implant procedures demand a great deal of the doctor's and staff's time and effort. The prosthodontist intensely studies your health profile, and then develops a plan to meet your unique needs. Additionally, surgical staff and the laboratory perform several services to produce the desired result. The materials used to construct implant prosthodontics are also very expensive. Bone grafting, if needed, is additionally costly.

While a basic implant is typically $1,250. to $3,000., depending on your circumstances additional costs for things such as in the case of a posterior mandible, bone regeneration, sinus elevation, and wide diameter or narrow diameter implants quickly escalate to as much as $15,000 to $30,000. for the complete procedure for the upper or lower jaw.
