Gee, I think you should probably get a few estimates by going in person.





Here in the States an implant (state of the art) will run at least $3,000.00 if you include the surgery, any additional grafts or pins from a second procedure (sometimes necessary due to rejections) and the final crown.





You really do not want to have this procedure done on the cheap, seek the advice of a well referred cosmetic dentist and then pay the price, you will be glad you did.

i dont know about implants but my dentist quoted me £200 per tooth to be crowned. im saving now as i need 6 done :(

Reply:A tooth implant is where your gum is cut slightly and a metal screw is fixed (implanted) into your jaw bone. The gum is then flapped back over the screw thread and left to heal for a few weeks. You then go back to the dentist to have the fake tooth fixed onto the screw.


It's quite a technical procedure and it requires a qualified dentist with this specific speciality. I'm sure the price varies a little between dentists, but my dentist charges approximately £2000. I know! It's alot of money - that's a nice holiday in the Caribbean!
Reply:This is not something that a regular dentist does. I don't know how much that it costs, however I guess that it would be very expensive. You could get a bridge instead, its not cheap, however your regular dentist could do this. It involves capping the teeth at either side of the gap and having a false tooth in between. It is still expensive but its cheaper that an implant I think. I had one done about twenty years ago.
Reply:A bridge is cheaper and can be done by any general dentist. It looks as good too and you don't need surgery and done grafting.

That includes casts and setting up jigs.





No problems at all with the work.
