My crown on implant tooth came out.?

I have expensive implants and my dentist put on crowns on it. I had one came out this week. Now I have to go back to my dentist to paste it one again. Is it common?

My crown on implant tooth came out.?
around my area- dentist do not use the strongest cement available to seat crowns on the implant abutments just in case something ever happens to the implant.

it is absolutely not a big deal at all. a minor appt and you are back together in no time!

good luck
Reply:Not common, but does happen. I know that it does not feel good.
Reply:If the work is not done properly, yes
Reply:Well, the crown is either put on an abutment that's screwed into the implant or the crown is attached by a screw.

Either ways there's a screw holding the crown, and screws do get loos sometimes (6 - 12 % of single implants experience that problem according to research).

Also rarely the crown only come out from the abutment if it is cemented on it which also happen.

It's a simple problem .. don't worry.. ok!!
Reply:You might be a night grinder. If you grind your teeth at night it can knock off your crown. Ask your dentist about a bite guard.
