What is the best way to replace two back upper teeth?

I need to do something because I'm loading on my remaining teeth. Can they attach a partial denture in the very back for just two teeth on the same side? Or should I get a implant? I'm kind of scared that they will crack my jaw when they screw in an inplant into the bone. How common is this?

If you are talking about replacing the last two teeth in the arch, then my adive would be dental implants. The only drawback to the implants is cost. Assuming that you have the appropriate amount of space and bone for the implants, that is the way to go.

Any type of partial is going to be absolutley ridiculous as it will not be secured on both the front and back portion of the partial, causing it to slide and move. Kind of like sitting in a chair that only has one leg....no support.
Reply:A partial is an appliance that can be removed. Getting a bridge would probably be cheaper than an implant but either one one be the best way to go.

ITs not common for your jaw to get cracked when they screw the implants in. There is not enough pressure to do that. It really is not as bad as they make it seem.
Reply:In order to have an implant done, you have to be a candidate for one... not everyone is...

Your best bet may be to have a unilateral partial denture made... and if you have insurance, it'll be partially covered.

:)
Reply:I have had three implants. They drill out a hole before adding the metal post. It is not screwed in, the bone adheres to it. The process tacks several months. Its drawback it is expensive 5000.00 implant and crown. You need to talk to a dentist about a partial bridge. If there is as good tooth behind

and in front of the good tooth they can do a bridge.
