Hi im soon gonna need a partial dnture for my front top 4 teet, just wondering if anyone else has one?

and how you are getting on with it. Im only 28 and feel so horrible about having it. Its making me quite depressed and anxious, i keep thinking it will fall out and feel so uncomfortable . Please give so advice. I am having due to bone loss and have spent so much money trying to save the teeth. Cant afford implants as would need bone grafting as well.

as a matter of fact when i was 9 my brother dropped a jar of jelly on me and broke my front tooth so i had to get that repaired...unfortunately my dentist messed mine up and now i have to get braces for my once perfectly straight teeth...but if that happens which i highly doubt will for you because your teethe arent growing or expanding anymore to do that...itll be just fine..its been ..lets see here..7 years since i got mine done and its still A OKAY!!! so dont worry itll be just fine
Reply:There's a happy medium between the removeable partial denture and implants. It's called a fixed bridge and looks and feels just like your own teeth. You never take it out because the dentist puts caps over the 2 nearest teeth to the extractions and the bridge briges the gap. A fixed bridge is much less expensive than implants but costs more than a partial denture.

If you don't get the bridge and decide to have the partial denture, you needn't worry about it falling out or being uncomfortable. Your dentist will have it made exactly for your mouth and it literally "locks" into place with a perfect fit. The downside is that you have to take it out to fully brush your teeth and your dentist will tell you to take it out at night so that you don't suffer further bone loss.

All that being said, please cheer up ~ It will all be over soon and you'll have a dazzling new smile :) Best wishes to you.
