If I lose a tooth due to gum recession, can a implant solve the missing tooth problem?

As long as you don't have progressive bone loss, yes.

If I lose a tooth due to gum recession, can a implant solve the missing tooth problem?
An implant may be impossible if the gum has receeded badly. You may have to have a bridge.
Reply:If you have gum disease (periodontal disease) implants will be impossible. The gum will pull away from those, too. At least if you get a bridge, you can get that replace when your gums recede more.
Reply:if it has receeded and is very sesitive at the gum line, they can do a white filling on the front of it, stops the sensitivity, you keep the tooth and it looks fine. It doesnt have to be removed
Reply:MANY REPAIR OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE TO YOU FOR GUM RECESSION OF A TOOTH. MASSIVE BONE LOSS MAY BE A REASON TO EXTRACT THAT TOOTH. IF THAT IS THE CASE, A BRIDGE CAN BE PLACED OR AN IMPLANT DEPENDING ON WHERE THE TOOTH IS LOCATED.
