How much would it cost to get a complete smile makeover? Not dentures, but implants - all teeth done. I've got the crappiest teeth and need them all done! How long would it take too?
A complete smile makeover...?
I'm a dentist.
That question is almost impossible to answer, because it depends entirely on the current condition of your mouth.
Suffice it to say that the cost of a single implant-supported prosthesis could run anywhere from $3000 to $6000, depending on your location and, of course, whether or not any adjunctive surgery is required (e.g. bone grafts, soft tissue surgeries, etc.).
Realistically speaking, expect to spend at minimum $10,000.
Reply:Sure. Go ahead and post another question on this forum. Put my name (NebulaDDS) in the title. Do it tonight, and I'll look for it and answer it. Report It
Reply:If your going to spend a fortune then why not get braces? I know how you feel my teeth were awful too and i went to my dentist for veneers. She wouldnt do it because although my teeth were awful they were healthy. She convinced me to have clear braces on and its the best decision i ever made. I had them removed and then whitened last year and they are so much better. People underestimate how much confidence you get from your smile. It cost around £2500, took 18 months and when i smile its all my own teeth. Why not consider this? It really is worth it and once the braces are on and you get used to them they are fine. I wasnt self conscious because i hated my teeth anyways and i knew they were getting fixed. I wish you luck x
Reply:You should consider consulting with an orthodontist before you make any big decisions. Most orthodontists offer consultations for little to no fee and they may be able to perfect your smile a lot cheaper than it would to get implants. Only an orthodontist could tell you how long treatment would last. I wish you the best of luck.
