Anyone have a bridge? What is it like?

I am getting a bridge, tooth implant, braces to fill in the space, or leaving it. My tooth fell out, an it is not coming in. I need braces anyway, but what should I chose?

there is a lot of things that we would need to know before i can give any advice:





how old are you? what tooth was it? how do you know it won't come in? have you seen a dentist for your options?





most dentists won't do a bridge or implant until you are a certain age, usually over 18.





if it were me i'd do braces if it's possible then an implant.





i do have a bridge, and i did have braces but i was missing 2 teeth and the gap wouldn't fill, but implants weren't an option for me because part of my jaw bone broke.





the reason i would choose a bridge last is that for a 'regular' bridge they would have to take down the teeth on either side of the missing tooth. and if these are 'virgin' teeth it sort of sucks because these teeth are now damaged for life.





depending on what tooth it is you could get a maryland bridge which basically glues to the back of the surrounding teeth and just replaces the missing tooth.
